So it was finally time to trade up for some new wheels for my E36 M3. The choice has been years in the making bouncing around from ideas with BBS, Apex, Forgeline, CCW and many many more. I knew I wanted something different  but also something that fits well with the now somewhat dated body lines and look of the E36 M3. Obviously style 5s came to mind but they were not unique enough, style 5s are a common wheel choice of many BMW enthusiasts from E30 to E90.

As I was scrolling through Facebook one day, the decision and choice of wheel for the E36 M3 was clear. The Forgeline LS3 Heritage Series 3-piece wheel was the choice and now the rest is history. The tight mesh design and structure of the LS3s is what really grabbed my attention. It reminds me of the Style 5 and other BBS wheels found on different BMW racecars over the years but it also features some uniqueness that really fit the M3 not to mention the Satin Gold Center and highly polished lips.

I decided to go with the 18x8 up front wrapped in a 235/40/18 Continental 5P tire and 18x9 in the rear with a 255/35/18 Continental in the rear. I went with a ET 32 up front and an ET 38 in the rear which kept much of the same "stance" and look I had with my previous wheels. It also allows me to go somewhat wide with my tire choices rather than trying to stretch a smaller tire on a wider wheel. The rear fenders are slightly rolled and 2.6 degrees of negative camber dialed into the rear Turner Adjustable Camber arms to allow for the 255 over the 9-inch wheel.
